Cancellations

Cancel free up to 24 hours before your appointment, using the link in your confirmation email or the “manage your booking” form on our home page. Inside 24 hours we may charge 50% of the treatment price — the chair is hard to refill at short notice. We’ll always email you to confirm a cancellation either way.

What we store, and why

To take a booking we keep your name, email address and mobile number, and the appointments you’ve made with us. That is the whole of it. There is no password and no account, because we don’t need one.

We use your email to send your confirmation, a reminder the day before, and a note if anything is cancelled. Your mobile is so we can reach you if something changes on the day, and so you can find your own booking again — the form asks for email and mobile precisely so that knowing just one isn’t enough.

We only email you about offers if you ticked the box, which is never ticked for you and never bundled with a discount. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.

We never sell your details, and we don’t share them with anyone except the service that delivers our email. Ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, and we’ll do it — write to hello@aurasalon.co.uk. If you ask us to delete your details we keep the record that an appointment happened, with your name removed, because we have to account for our own takings.

Cookies

This site doesn’t use cookies, and there are no analytics, advertising or social media trackers on it. Our typefaces are served from our own site rather than from Google, so loading a page here doesn’t tell anyone else that you visited.

The only thing we store in your browser is a note that you dismissed our privacy notice, and — if you’re the salon — that you’re signed in to the admin area. Neither is shared with anyone, and clearing your browser data removes both.
